A writer friend of ours, Jim Carrier, had just moved from Montgomery to New Orleans and wrote an article for the Philadelphia Inquirer. While it doesn't speak of Hotel de la Monnaie, it is one more piece of the tragedy of the levy breaches and resulting flooding.
